A trip to the Doctor…

No, wait, not that doctor. (sadly)

I’m talking about the Naturalist doctor I go see every month or so.

THE GOOD NEWS: My gallbladder, the thing we went to save in the first place, is now healed! WOOHOO! I don’t have to loose it! My liver is also excellent. In case you wanted to know. Also, it’s not my fault I haven’t been able to loose weight! It’s my Adrenal glands. Yup. Apparently the’ve stagnated. (Envisions a pond filled with mosquitoes and algae) Which, in turn, gives me a weak heart. My low stamina isn’t my fault EITHER! …I don’t know whether or not these two facts fit in ‘the good news’ or the ‘bad news’ category. <_<

THE BAD NEWS: Remember how I can’t eat Grains? As in corn, rice, wheat, etc.? Yeah; that hasn’t changed. Now I can’t have potatoes or sugar, either. And when I say ‘sugar’ I mean ‘sugar/cane juice/honey’ etc. I’m using Coconut Crystals right now; and I’m going to give Xylitol a try. Yes. I tried Stevia. I’m sorry. I can’t do it.

SO! I can eat dairy, fruit, vegetables, meat, and beans. Yay. And take more pills. Yay. But hey, at least this should fix my health problems! Woot!

On another note… (because one can only handle so much medical information about a person they’ve most likely never met)  – I’ve been asked to do a spread for the Winter issue of Aletheia magazine! *fist pump* YES!  I’m very excited. I can’t wait to see what they throw at me.

I also finished a commission for Stephen L. of his character Stanton –

(Terrible quality because of our scanner)

And now I get to work on Stanton’s brother, Jayra, who ought to be fun as he’s the pretty-boy archer type. ^_^ THEN I have yet ANOTHER commission – LOKI!  Yes, I know, pity me, you all know I hate drawing Loki… (yes, that was a heavy dose of sarcasm there.) It’s a picture for Sarah’s fanfiction of Loki and a girl named Rose… the angle is going to be weird, as she’s in a hospital bed and he’s standing up. Still not sure how I’ll work it.

But it should stretch my artistic abilities, anyway!

OH, YEAH, IMPORTANT NOTICE: We’re all going to Myrtle Beach from Tuesday to Thursday, so you won’t hear from me.

By the way, I was very tempted to give you all a dissertation on 1 John: 1. It really is a wonderful chapter, and it’s only ten verses long… what if I gave you a condensed version?

Ah, good. You’re all thrilled.

1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

3That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

4And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. (I love this…)

5This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (I love this too…)

6If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: (This makes me think of celebrities who claim to be Christians, but… well, certainly don’t act like it. I feel so awful for them – I’m glad we can pray!! And hey, it isn’t just celebrities. You find this a lot in the Church, too. We’re even guilty of doing it ourselves from time to time.)

7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (♥)

8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (Okay, yes. This would seem to refute the people who believe that true Christians don’t sin. That’s absolutely ridiculous. The Bible states that Jesus was the only sinless man – we CAN’T *NOT* sin. It’s human nature. But we can admit our sins to God, and He will forgive us. He promised; and you can’t get much better than that!)

9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (See? This says we WILL sin. You can’t be sinless; but you can strive for it!)

10If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (See above 2 comments).

There! That wasn’t so hard, was it?  And with that, I leave you. Thank you all, and good night afternoon.

    • O.O OHMYGOODNESS, THAT IS HILARIOUS!!! They actually SELL that!? I wonder who buys them XD Thank you for the extra gallbladder; a spare is always nice!! *laughs*
OH YES; that would be lovely! He could fix me up with one fell swoop of the sonic screwdriver 😉

      • Wouldn’t that be nice? I hate echos– I don’t want any more of them! DOCTOR, FIX ME WITH YOUR SCREWDRIVER!

And yes, always having spare organs are nice. 🙂 That’s the great thing about kidneys– if one fails, you’ve got a spare! But if that fails, you’re in trouble…

And to my above comment– I suppose it isn’t GOOD to know that other teenage bloggers have weak hearts. They aren’t all that fun, to be honest. But, it’s, you know, interesting.

  1. I foresee casualties in the very near future – I think one of my little brothers wrote that earlier comment. Come on now, Mirriam, how often do I use lolspeak and texting abbreviations like “jk”? (hardly ever; I don’t think I’ve ever used that one before – I use btw and a few others occasionally)
I think my internal organs are perfectly fine but my stamina is very low as well. 😦 (by the way, I don’t have a Sonic Screwdriver, but you can get one from thinkgeek.com, a site I love and may have already told you about…no, I haven’t watched the show, but it’s been recommended to me and I’ve heard a few things about it) Update: Lucas says he tried to make that comment with another account, but mine didn’t log out for some reason.
Anyway, I’m glad you’re not doing that badly, I hope you’ll be doing better soon, and good job with your “condensed dissertation.”

    • AHAHAHAA!! I THOUGHT you sounded weird!!! I was thinking “Wow, he must have been in a real hurry; he ordinarily doesn’t use chatspeak like that!!” *falls over laughing* It sounded MUCH more like Lucas XD Wonder why.
AW; SONIC SCREWDRIVER! I love the Thinkgeek website; haha! It’s one of my favorites! Doctor Who is awesome; you should watch it =D
Thank you SO MUCH! =) =)

  2. So good that you know what’s happening with your body. Thank God for people who help us with our medical needs. What will you have instead of potatoes???? I love tatas precious!

  3. SO sorry about all the foods you can’t eat. That’s always hard, but hopefully it will make you feel amazing!
Question: what is the “Forget Mr. Darcy- I have William” pic about? Is it a movie?

Got something to say?
